My stone Cacholong

Mineral Cacholong = Opal or Nephrite ( SiO2 + H20 )

Cacholong, a little known mineral in the world of gemstones, is pretty obscure.Cacholong also known as Kalmuck Agate is a variety of Opal. Its name possibly comes from a Cach River in Uzbekistan. Cacholong is milky white in color with a Moh hardness of about 6. It can be easily carved or inlaid.
